Pompadours, Pixie cuts, Victory Rolls, and Crew cuts
This window was inspired by those neat vintage hairstyle charts most commonly found in old barber shops. There aren't many out there anymore and I had a hard time finding the right hairstyle images that matched the names. So this window took much more time researching, drawing, and choosing the right styles. All the hairstyles and faces are hand drawn before painted; if you look closely you can find Betti Page, Johnny Cash, and Elvis! (Again, these photographs don't do the window justice! Shot in mixed lighting..)
Hairstyles of Today SOLD

Ships Were Made for Sinking... Whiskey for Drinking!
Here we are with an excerpt from a Squirrel Nut Zippers song.
Couldn't have said it better myself.
Big beautiful Chicago bungalow window with a lightly refurbished frame and fresh clear coat.
Hope you're not a sailor!
Listen to the song and watch the video here.
Original drawing and design. Old time sailor tattoo lettering on top and railroad lettering on the bottom. The water is drawn from an old 30s record label.
And yeah, flipped and reversed the water to mirror as a whiskey ocean to hold the bottom lettering.
First window to sell at the Renegade Art Fair.
"Ships were made for Sinking, Whiskey for Drinking!" SOLD
